We recently all had the flu.
Every single one of the family members at some point over the course of 15 days had the flu and it was nasty. Super high fevers, some of us puked, others got an insane bronchial cough that will not go away (present tense, will not leave us alone). And then after three days you thought you were better and then the next day, it came back even harder.
In a moment of anger and scarcity and an attempt to surrender-ish, I remember just saying on repeat:
F*ck this flu
F*ck this flu
F*ck this flu
F*ck this flu
And while we are on the other side of it now, that was something and I am needing to write about it to get all the way out of my body. And I wanted to create a portal of connection for anyone and everyone that has had or is navigating the flu right now. Let’s talk it out.
STYLE.
Let’s starts with flu style shall we. What is flu style? Well, the washing machine was put to work, she was spinning on repeat. Clothes, towels, sheets and sheets again. And, I looked in the mirror and even my pajamas were tired.
