Emotional tornadoes, I love a metaphor

11 steps taped to the wall by the elevator.

Waiting for the elevator, a yellow sign was haphazardly taped with one little square of scotch tape above the up/down button. Did they tape it up on the wall all cockeyed on purpose and should I fix it? I left it as is, it did seem to grab my attention more that way. It read 11 Steps on What to Do if there is a Tornado in the area. I scanned the steps but only got to number 5 before the ding and the large silver double doors glided open.

The next day, curious about the lingering 6 steps I had missed, I googled it on my phone (that I must say, is rarely even a phone these days). Here is a mish-mash of info I found. And this goes without saying but I will say it, I highly recommend NOT using this post for safety in a tornado as it will be a metaphor here shortly ….
