Thank you for that, July. Hello August.
Can I tell you something weird?
When we moved to Maine, the (ginormous) clock tower down the road from us was never the right time. It was always chiming at like the weirdest off hours like 11:27am or 1:14pm. It was hilarious and I found it rather endearing and eccentric. I also found it almost a creepy mirror of how we felt moving here, just a little off learning life on EST and starting anew and re-entering humidity.
Today when I was running and feeling grateful for our home and the beach and some launches and our community and reflections, I can say that I am feeling we have hit a stride in ourselves and life in Maine.
Would you know it, the clock tower now reads the right time … every time.
Divine timing, one might say…

AUDIT

In one word, how was July? ___________________________
Awakening.
What are two learnings you experienced from July?
I am learning the beauty of cycles. Some people you meet in your life years ago will come in and heal you today. And that to me is the magic of being alive.
I learned in an interview for my new program, THE12 MOTHERMIND this week with somatic practitioner, Stacey Ramsower that while I may throw an inner (cough, outer) tantrum some days, I am a grown ass adult and I can remember to make decisions and choices from that space. HUZZAH!
What are two celebrations you can share from July?
I am celebrating my body and her energy, her recovery, her resilience, and her ability to heal. I am navigating thyroid healing with my naturopath, Dr. Nicole Huffman and it has been a ride. Hello out there to my thyroid humans, I see you. That fatigue was something I have never experienced before and the wet blanket I was walking around with has begun to fall away from my mind and body and I am so very grateful.
I started journaling (fav journal linked here) and then reading out loud (a super novice) at spoken word. I am literally like four days in but you gotta hype yourself right where you are at and I am!
In closing, July was very activating, healing, sunny and thoughtful.

This again: So present people get weird around me because I hold eye contact one second longer.
